If your child attended the New England basketball camp last week, there are 4 additional open gyms we would love to have them attend to continue learning and reinforcing what they learned at camp. There was a flyer that was sent home with information in regards to these, but here is the information if those did not make it home.
Wednesday, June 5th— Boys in incoming grades 3-8 will have an open gym from 6:00-7:15 pm. Boys in grades 9-12 will have an open gym from 7:30 to 9:00 pm.
Thursday, June 6th— Girls in grades 3-8 will have an open gym from 6:00-7:15 pm. Open gym for girls in grades 9-12 has been cancelled.
Due to Slope Electrics annual meeting at the school, the open gyms on June 5th and 6th will be at the Memorial Hall.
The other 3 open gyms for your child are as follows and will be located at the school.
Girls will have open gyms on June 10th, June 17th, and June 24th from 6:00-7:15 pm for grades 3-8 and 7:30-9:00 pm for girls in grades 9-12.
Boys will have open gyms on June 12th, 19th, and 26th from 6:00-7:15 pm for grades 3-8 and 7:30-9:00 pm for grades 9-12.
Please have your child bring their basketball, which was given to them after camp, to use for these open gyms. We look forward to seeing everyone there!
The Mott-Regent-New England high school track/field banquet date has been set for June 11th @ 6:00 PM. It will be held in New England at the Lion's Park during Burgers in the Park. Grades 7th or 8th who participated in varsity are invited.
All track uniforms must be turned in today by 2:00 PM. If uniforms are not returned today, you will forfeit your uniform deposit.
The absolute final deadline to customize yearbook pages has been extended to tomorrow, May 29.
Basketball Camp is at the correctional center!
Reminder: The New England basketball camp starts tomorrow, the 28th and runs through Thursday, the 30th. The camp is being held at the Correctional Center. Please be at the camp 10 minutes prior to the camp start time.
Students ENTERING grades 3-5 this fall will have camp from 9:00 am to 10:30 am. Students ENTERING grades 6-8 this fall will have camp from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Students ENTERING grades 9-12 will have camp from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
Due to the rainy and muddy conditions, it is critical that gym shoes are worn in the gym only. Please have clean and dry shoes that your child can wear once they enter the gym. Please have your child bring a water bottle to the camp with their name on it. There will then be containers filled with water that they can use to refill their bottles as needed.
Track participants must return their uniforms and sweats by Tuesday, May 28, to avoid losing their deposit checks.
There was an error in the set-up in PowerSchool and all teachers will need to re-calculate their grades in PowerSchool in order to finalize grades.
There will be a Booster Club meeting at Memorial Hall tonight, May 20, at 5:30 PM.
