The Driver's Education Course fee at NEPS is $155 and must be paid on or before the first day of class. You can send the payment through your student or make the payment at the school office.

REMINDER: Parents of band and choir students, The 2024 Spring concert will be held on Wednesday, May 1st at 5:00 in the old gym. The groups performing include 5th and 6th grade band, high school band, and high school choir. It is very important that everyone participates in this event, because it is necessary for our groups to have a good sound. For this reason, participation in this concert is worth a large portion of your child's grade. Here is what your child is responsible for: - Being in the music room by 4:30 - Concert black attire (all black dress clothes, including shoes) - Music - Instrument (band students only) - Help with putting equipment away after the concert (unless they are going to Hunter's Safety or FFA)

Hey there! It's going to be a packed evening tonight! 🎉 Just a heads up, we've got the Spring Concert for 5th-12th graders kicking off at 5:00 p.m., followed by the FFA Banquet at 6:00 p.m. in the commons. Due to this, Hunter's Safety will be back in VoAg tonight at 6:00 p.m.

With the huge turnout for Hunters Safety it has been moved to the commons. Please use the front door tonight.

A Message from Nikki: I know many of you are accustomed to a gallery and then purchasing. Due to the transition back to order forms and photos being returned to the school; I have put them in a gallery for your viewing. You will see the first photos is instructions as well as a sample of what they will look like once ordered. Attached you find a new order form to include details for class and grand march as well as a new option for those who might just want an ala carte option. Parents, Next week, students will take NDSA tests, the following week they will take STAR, and the last week of school is finals. That being said, parents are not allowed in the building for the remainder of the year (office visits are still permitted, but lunch and other visits are not), students need to be at school on time, and computers need to be charged prior to coming to school. Parents, all library books need to be returned to the library no later than May 3rd. After that date, you will receive a letter if your child is still missing books and possibly overdue fines.

The development of a new track complex adjacent to the football field is currently in progress. For safety reasons, we kindly request that you refrain from driving within the construction area and avoid accessing the track until the project is fully completed.

If you have a child in 6th grade or high school band, please make sure that they have returned their permission slips to go on the Band Trip on Thursday, April 25th- Saturday, April 28th. Students are not allowed to go unless they have returned their permission slips to Mr. Krebs before the trip.

Tigers, it’s going to be an awesome weekend! We can’t wait to see all of your pretty dresses and fancy pants! Here are a couple of reminders for all of the events taking place this weekend. Prom • Doors open at 7:30. • Once the dance starts (around 8:00-8:15), parents will be asked to leave promptly. • Prom ends at 11:00. If your child leaves before then, s/he will not be allowed to return. • School rules will be enforced. • Only approved guests will be allowed to attend. After Prom • Doors open at 11:00 and close at 11:20. • School rules apply to this event. If your student gets in trouble at the Memorial Hall, they will have school consequences. • Once a student leaves, they are not able to return, and parents will be notified. • Snacks and beverages will be served. • Only approved guests will be allowed to attend. These are the students that turned in their forms to attend prom. • The after-prom event is over at 4:00 a.m. Father/Daughter, Mother/Son • Doors will no longer open at 4:00 for pictures. The start time is now 5:00, and it will end at 7:00. • Today is the last day to pre-register for $20 per couple. • The cost at the door is $25, with a $5 fee per additional child. • This dance is intended for Pre-K-6th grade students only. • Please monitor your children at all times. Only the gym, concessions, and bathrooms will be open during this time. Students should not be on the playground or running in the halls. • Concessions will be open, but there is limited food due to the end of the year. Food is not allowed outside of the cafeteria.
